Why DEBASREE'S?

Debasree, the mastermind of DEBASREE'S, brings a global perspective to an intrinsic Indian design – starting with her days in San Francisco. Hers is an amalgamation of ideas – the haute

couture of Milan and Paris, the laissez faire of American causal, the earthy but sensual design of Indian traditional and last but not the least, the soothing design of traditional Bengali (aka Batik). She tried to grasp the need of the people, demand of the people and necessity to adapt.

History of DEBASREE'S

Debasree originally hails from San Francisco. She loved fashion from a very early age and started learning it as an academic pursuit. She realized that professional of various sizes and figures also intend to be fashionable.

Debasree thought of designing fashions for them commensurate with their figure and profession, producing an immaculate image. Right fashion for her clients of every figure and profession made her very popular. Her success continued and in 2003, she opened “DEBASREE'S” in Hindustan Park, Kolkata, near Gariahat. The store cum boutique house was inaugurated by eminent film director and fashion lover Rituparna Ghosh in presence of personalities from different walks of life.

Debasrees continutes to evolve – hers is an eternal experiment to innovate, design and produce fashion, exhibit the results in metros round the world.
